How a migration runs

  • Assessment. We inventory your GoldMine database: record counts, custom fields, Automated Processes, integrations, GoldSync topology, and data quality. You get a written migration plan with a fixed scope.
  • Field mapping. Every field that matters gets an explicit destination. Nothing important is left to an importer's guess.
  • Trial migration. We convert a full copy into a sandbox first. Your team validates real records before anything goes live.
  • Cutover. A final sync over a weekend or slow period, so Monday morning starts in the new system with current data.
  • Training and support. Your team learns the new system on your own data, and we stay available after go-live.

Most GoldMine migrations run two to six weeks from assessment to cutover, depending on database size, custom fields, and how much cleanup the data needs.

Common questions

Will we lose our notes and history?

No. Preserving history is the whole point of doing this properly. Every completed activity, note, and email in your GoldMine database gets mapped to the new system or archived in a searchable format you own.

Our GoldMine is heavily customized. Is that a problem?

It is the normal case. Custom fields, GM+Views, and Automated Processes are exactly why generic import tools fall short. We map custom structures explicitly and rebuild the automations that still earn their keep.

What does a migration cost?
